Christian giving is an act of worship that flows from a heart transformed by God’s grace. It is a joyful response to God’s goodness and provision. Everything we have belongs to Him, and when we give, we participate in His work—meeting needs, strengthening the church, and reflecting His love to the world. As Jesus taught, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).
The Bible reminds us that God is the ultimate giver. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son” (John 3:16). Christian giving mirrors this sacrificial love. It is not measured by the size of the gift, but by the faith and obedience behind it. The Apostle Paul encourages believers to give freely and cheerfully, trusting God’s faithfulness: “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).
