The Church will be busy on Sunday, February 16th. We will be having one combined service at 10:45 am to offer our congregation the chance to worship together as one family of faith. Following service, we will head downstairs into the Fellowship Hall for a Church Wide Luncheon, prepared as a Love Gift by the children and youth of the church. During the lunch, we will discuss plans for renewing the Stephen Ministry Program of the church, and also my plans for beginning a monthly men’s breakfast and service project for the men of the church. This format will be the umbrella for our United Methodist Men’s Chapter.
Following the conclusion of the meal, Rock Solid and I will be traveling to Phoebe Berks to lead a 2:30 pm Sunday afternoon worship service for the residents at that facility, assisted by any church members who would be willing to come along and assist in transporting residents from their rooms to the chapel. It’s a quick and easy way to offer service to others in the name of the church and our Lord. Please come to as many of these activities as you can manage – they are planned and being put into place as a means of grace for our members to grow in their faith. Hope to see you there! Pastor Bern
