A joint Charge Conference (Calvary, West Lawn and Lincoln Park UM Churches) will be held on Thursday, November 10th beginning at 6:30PM @ Calvary. Our District Superintendent, Rev. Dr. Anita Powell, will preside and speak to us on how our churches, each a congregation in the Body of Christ, can Focus on the Future: Imagining a Way Forward.
Together we will: celebrate and highlight our work and ministries, ratify previously approved administrative business, recommend/reaffirm persons for ministry, receive finance, mission and resource updates, and take a special offering for our Central District Missional Project: Clean Water Initiative.
All leaders of the church and our members are encouraged to attend.
